HEAD OFFICE

Marketing & Merchandising Assistant - Part Time Permanent Position
Based at Heywood Distribution Park - please note no public transport links are available in this area so reliable transport is essential

Essential requirements

- Excellent computer knowledge including the use of Excel
- Graphic design experience with Adobe Photoshop/Creative Cloud or other creative software
- Marketing experience including the use of social media
- Customer service experience
- Interest in fashion retail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A team player who is happy to assist in other areas of the business when necessary
- Must be flexible around seasonal periods when weekend/evening work may be required
- Beneficial but not essential: merchandising experience, experience with email marketing platforms

Key responsibilities

- Aid the merchandiser; monitor stock levels, review promotions for poor performing lines, re order well performing lines, create seasonal promotions, converse with suppliers over stock issues, conduct stocktakes etc
- Aid the marketing department; assist with the planning of the promotional calendar, creating imagery in the studio with our photographer featuring stock, creating content for all of our social platforms
- Assisting with website upkeep - merchandising category pages, inputting support tickets, researching competitors
- Planning, designing and monitoring performance of website overlays
- Customer service support including answering customer queries via email, telephone & live chat
