The Scheme

  1. Hurley loyalty cards are issued by and remain the property of Hurley Menswear Ltd which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to: (a) terminate the scheme; (b) decline to issue loyalty cards; and (c) on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel loyalty cards, points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Hurley Loyalty card scheme. Reasonable grounds include (i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme, or (ii) any use or attempted use of a loyalty card or points in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions or (iii) any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the scheme.
  2. All participants in the Hurley loyalty card scheme must be resident in the UK and aged 16 years or over.
  3. The Hurley loyalty card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person(s) whose name(s) are linked to the account.
  4. Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Hurley Menswear Ltd.
  5. Your loyalty card can only be used at Hurley stores, Hurley operated Lacoste Boutiques, Hurley operated Henri Lloyd stores and online at www.hurleys.co.uk. Your loyalty card cannot be used as a credit/debit card or a guarantee card.
  6. The Hurley loyalty card scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Hurley loyalty card Points cannot be transferred sold or in any way traded. They may only be pooled by members linked to the same account who also hold their own loyalty card.
  7. Your Hurley loyalty card cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business and/or the owners of a business without the prior written consent of Hurley Menswear Ltd.
  8. Hurley Menswear Ltd cannot be held liable for lost, stolen, damaged cards or any points on such cards. Lost, stolen or damaged cards can be replaced at the discretion of Hurley Menswear Ltd at a cost of £5 to cover the replacement card and administration charges. In this event all points that are still on our computer system relating to the original card will be transferred on to your replacement card and the original card will be made inactive. Visit any Hurley store or use the contact page online at www.hurleys.co.uk for further advice or if you need to report your card lost, damaged or stolen.

Points

  1. To collect points for a transaction in-store, your Hurley loyalty card must be presented at the till. To collect points on purchases made through any catalogue or online, you will be required to quote your loyalty card number.
  2. Points will usually only be added to a valid loyalty card at the time when you buy products included in the scheme. There may be specific occasions when we add points later at our discretion; however you will need to provide your original receipt and loyalty card before any points are added.
  3. Points collected on additional cards linked to the main loyalty card holder’s account will be credited to this account.
  4. Points will not be given for purchases of Gift Cards. Other products may also be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Hurley Menswear Ltd.
  5. You must also spend at least £1 in a single transaction for the transaction to qualify for points. 5 points will be awarded for every £1 that is spent where 1 point is equal to £0.01p. This can be altered at the discretion of Hurley Menswear Ltd. Hurley Menswear Ltd shall be entitled to set a limit on the number of points which may be awarded to each loyalty card account in respect of special promotional  items on which additional points are awarded.
  6. Hurley Menswear Ltd shall be entitled at any time to cancel points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned or cancelled for any reason and a refund / credit of the purchase price is given or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value Hurley Menswear Ltd shall be entitled to cancel the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products.
  7. Where points are redeemed and used as part payment for goods, further loyalty points will only be awarded on the remaining balance once the redeemed points have been deducted.
  8. The current redemption value of points is one point equals one penny. Hurley Menswear Ltd reserves the right to vary the rate at any time.
  9. Where points can be collected with our partners other terms and conditions may apply. Please check with our partners for further details.
  10. If returning goods where a loyalty card has been used as full or part payment or loyalty points were awarded, the same loyalty card must be present for an exchange, credit or refund to take place. In these circumstances points that were used as part or full payment will be credited back onto the card, and any points that were awarded will be deducted off the card. Any balance that was paid using cash, credit card or cheque will be subject to our standard returns policy as worded on your receipt and in stores at the till point. In all circumstances proof of purchase is required. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  11. When returning goods that were part of a multiple item sale transaction a proportionate percentage of the original points spent will be added back onto the card and a proportionate percentage of the points earned in the initial transaction will be deducted off the card.

General

  • We would like to use your details from the application form, plus details on how you use your Loyalty card and what you buy in our stores, to:
  • Help manage the Hurley loyalty card and improve the way we run it
  • Understand our customers’ shopping habits to improve our service
  • Unless you indicate otherwise, contact you with offers and information about products and services of interest to you and your family
  • We will share your details among Hurley companies, and businesses that process loyalty card information on our behalf (e.g. printers who need certain details to print mailings).
  • We may also use and share information relating to groups of customers, without identifying individuals, to learn more about customer behaviour and find ways of enhancing our service.

Gift card Instructions

1. How to purchase this card - Take this card to any till point and inform the sales assistant of the amount you would like to be added to the card. The card will be activated and payment requested in the normal way.

2. How to use this card - This card may be presented for full or part payment of merchandise in store. The amount of any purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card.

3. How to top-up this card - Present this card at any till point in store and inform the sales assistant of the amount you would like to be added.

Balance enquiry

The balance outstanding will be displayed on receipts issued when the card is used to make a purchase, or when topped-up. The balance may also be checked by visiting any Hurley operated store.

Hurley / Lacoste gift card terms & conditions

1. Validly activated cards can be used as full or part payment of any goods at Hurley stores and Hurley operated Lacoste Boutiques throughout the UK. No change or refunds will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases.

2. The card cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers / additional gift cards and the card (and any card balance) cannot be exchanged for cash.

3. The card is for personal use only and it may not be used for commercial purposes (including but not limited to resale) without Hurley’s prior written consent. The card is exempt from Hurley’s Standard Returns Policy.

4. The minimum amount required to activate or top-up this card is £5 and the maximum card limit is £1000.

5. This card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or debit card.

6. This card has no expiration date and there will be no fees for non-use.

7. Hurley Menswear Ltd cannot be held liable for lost, stolen, damaged cards or any credit amounts on such cards.

8. Hurley Menswear Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions on reasonable notice for legal, security or regulatory reasons or to discontinue the gift card scheme at any time in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.

9. The card may be used as payment for goods of a higher price than the current card balance, on payment of the difference. Over payments, where goods are subsequently exchanged for goods of a lower price, will be added to the balance on the card.

Returns and Refunds

Goods returned because of wrong size or choice will not be refunded. However, we are willing to exchange unused goods, or issue a Gift card credit within 28 days of purchase. This policy conforms to the sales of goods act of 1979 (as amended in 1994)

We reserve the right to return faulty goods to manufactures for examination before a refund is given.

Proof of purchase is required.

What to do

If you have purchased an item using your gift card and are unsatisfied with your item you can return it unused and in a saleable condition within 28 days of receipt for an exchange or full credit back onto your gift card. (We reserve the right to amend this condition on non full priced items)

If you have your original gift card simply return your purchase(s) and your credit will be automatically credited onto your Gift card.

To avoid any problems with refunds customers are advised to retain their card even if the full balance has been used until you or the person you have purchased items for are entirely happy with the goods.

If you have lost your original Gift card please return your purchase(s) as normal and a credit will be credited onto a new Gift card.

If you require any further assistance or have any queries with regards to how the Gift Card works in store please ask a member of staff at you nearest store.

This provision does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods, further details of which are available from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.
