FAQ
How do I purchase online?
Select your product group from the menu on the left hand side. This then takes you into the products for that department (e.g. Click Men, then Jackets will take you to Men’s Jackets).
All the products that we have for that department will then be shown over a number of pages. To look at the other products in that department click the numbers below the last product or the "NEXT > >" button.
If there are no more products for that department, there will be no numbers or "NEXT > >" button.
If you wish to view a product in more detail, then just click on the image of the product.
You will then be taken to the product and you have a number of options here:
a) click on the product to get a larger image
b) click on the boxes underneath the product to look at the garment in finer detail (this option is only available on certain products)
c) click on the colours on the right hand side of the product to see the item in a different colour
d) click to add the item to your wish list
e) click to email the product to a friend
f) select a size and a quantity and then click “ADD TO CART> >” to begin the buying process
If you click “ADD TO CART> >” the item will be added to your shopping cart.
If you then wish to purchase this product you can click “checkout” on the same line and you can then click through until purchase is complete.
How do I return a product?
Please select the return policy link on the home page of the website for further instructions of how to return items back to us.
What are your delivery times / charges and where do you deliver to?
Please select the delivery charges link on the main home page for further information.
Do I have to sign for my parcel when it arrives?
Yes. Our delivery company DHL requires a signature.
What if I am not in when the order arrives?
If you are not at home to accept the delivery, the driver will leave a card with his mobile number so you can contact him to re-deliver the package at a more acceptable time (up until 9pm that day).
If you do not phone the delivery driver, they will try 2 more attempts (the next day and then the day after) at delivering the package before returning it to the depot. It is then your responsibility to arrange pick-up.
If the package is not collected within 4 days from the DHL depot it will be returned to Hurley Menswear Ltd. You will then be contacted by us to see if you still want the product, if so, you will have to pay for postage and packing again. If not, we will refund you for the cost of the goods minus the postage and packing.
What happens after I place my order?
As soon as you place your order, the information is sent to our distribution centre and the item awaits picking.
The order is then packaged ready for shipping. If your order is confirmed by 12pm it will be dispatched that day. Orders placed after 12pm will be sent the following working day.
How can I ask a question about ordering?
You can email us by clicking on the “CONTACT US” section of the left-hand menu. We will aim to respond to you within 2 working days.
Will I get a receipt with my order?
What you will receive is an initial email confirming your order, therefore it is important that you give us a valid email address so as to receive your order and payment confirmation. You will also receive a packing note with your goods when they arrive showing your order and price paid for your goods. The packing note should be used if you wish to make a return.
Are all items in Hurley Menswear stores available to buy online?
No, we currently only have selected items for the website so you may be able to find other items in our stores.
Can I place an order online and collect from a store?
No.
How can I be sure my order went through?
You will receive an email confirmation saying your order has been accepted.
Can I use my loyalty card online?
Yes you can use your loyalty card online to add or spend points. When you get to the checkout stage you will be prompted to enter your 12 digit loyalty card number. This is found on the reverse of your card. Please note that you can only use a loyalty card that is registered to you and the system will do a verification check to ensure the loyalty card details match your online registration details. Should you require any further advice or assistance using your loyalty card online please email info@hurleys.co.uk Please also make sure that after you have entered your 12 digit card number at the checkout stage that there are no spaces before or after the number. Also please click on the submit button rather than pressing the enter / return key. After a short pause your available points balance should be displayed. You can now select the amount of points that you wish to use and then click the submit button. Your order total will now be updated showing your loyalty card discount. Should you wish to just earn points and not spend any then follow the same procedure above but enter 0 (zero) for the amount of points you wish to spend and click the submit button. You can now finalise your transaction and points for the transaction will be added to your account.
Can I use my gift card online?
Yes you can use your gift card online. When you get to the checkout stage you will be prompted to enter your 12 digit gift card number. This is found on the reverse of your card. Please note that you will need your 4 digit pin number to use your card. This is printed on your gift card receipt. Should you require any further advice or assistance please email info@hurleys.co.uk
Can I return an item purchased online to a Hurley store?
All items purchased online must be returned back to the web returns department and cannot be returned to a Hurley store. Please select the Returns Policy link on the left hand side of the screen for further details.
How do I know what size to purchase?
Please select the size charts link either on the left hand menu or when viewing a product select the size chart link for guidance on the right size to purchase. If you want more specific measurements then please send an email to sales@hurleys.co.uk with details of the item you would like measurements on.
I have seen an item in a store but it is not on the website. Can I still make a purchase?
Please send an email to sales@hurleys.co.uk with details of the item you are wanting to purchase and if we have the item in stock we will send you details of how you can purchase the item via mail order.
Why can I not purchase Paul & Shark items online?
Paul & Shark currently do not allow online sales and as we are a company that respect the brands we sell we will not in any way go against the wishes of the brand. We are allowed to show images of the items that we sell and if you contact us on the special Paul & Shark number or send an email to sales@hurleys.co.uk we can give you further details of how to obtain Paul & Shark goods and which of our stores stock the brand.
Can I track my packages online after I have made a purchase?
Yes you can. When we dispatch goods out we will email you with a unique DHL tracking reference number. If you then visit http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking/ and then from the Nextday service select the "by ident code" link. Then in the "from ident code" box key in your tracking number and click the submit button, this will give you the current overview of where your parcel is. If you click on the ident code number on the results page it will then give you a step by step breakdown of where your package is or has been. If you have not received a tracking number then please send an email to sales@hurleys.co.uk and we will re send the code to you.
